Uncle Crappy

This was an interesting year.

It’s a little difficult to quantify, but I felt like I — we, to include The Wife — made progress on a bunch of things that had been sort of nagging at us for a while. And I think we’re both tired of preparations and ready to act. Here’s what I’ll be working on in 2008:

• Buying a house.
• Starting at least two podcasts, one for me and one at work.
• Continuing to weasel in on any potential new media projects at the newspaper.
• Regularly posting at Uncle Crappy. Participating in NaBloPoMo in November taught me I can do this when I put my mind to it. I’m not making any promises about posting daily – because that would just be a stupid thing for me to promise — but I hearby resolve to end the two-week ”vacations” from Uncle Crappy. Unless Uncle Crappy is actually on vacation.
• And some other stuff.

So I’m working tonight, although I should be home in time to open that bottle of Gratitude 2006 I’ve been sitting on. That and an old Grateful Dead NYE show will ensure I have a happy start to 2008.
