March 14, 2008 stuff.
The cat and I are both feeling a little disjointed today — probably because The Wife is in Dallas until Sunday evening. This fact prompts some odd thoughts and behaviors.
- I’m not one to go all crazy in my few days of temporary bachelorhood. But there is a certain giddiness in being unsupervised for a weekend. To celebrate: I just had a steak for lunch.
- I did take care of some what The Wife calls my “housewifely duties” that seem to come up every Friday. I did the dishes SHE PROMISED TO WASH BEFORE SHE LEFT.
- I’m doing this on Saturday. A little workish, but should be interesting stuff.
- I’m watching this with a bunch of yinz tonight at the Treehouse. Which means I’ll be looking and feeling my best when I get up early Saturday morning to try to beat the St. Patrick’s Day parade crowd downtown.
- GIANT TWINKIES!
- Another indulgence: I’m gonna go take a nap. See you later.

NICE! and screw you for eating steak today :) I hope the weather clears up so don’t get stuck in the house all day.
Lushie dropped the bomb on me today that she’s going to spend a 3 day weekend back home in a few weeks. I can only dream of what that will be like… Me, my internet connection, good beer, steak and Playstation 2.
pirates are playing at home so I may have to do some quality time at PNC Park being a baseball geek.

Hey, I lost my first comment… So I hope this trip means the Wife is feeling better. I sent her an e-mail today and never heard back and wondered if she was sick. Last I heard, she was still suffering lingering symptoms from the flu. Enjoy your bachelor weekend! Fred has a bachelor Saturday, as I am judging a magazine writing contest – kinda workish, like you.
