It has come to my attention that there is a video of Pittsburgh’s own Jim Lokay — the World’s Greatest Traffic Guy — performing a snippet as pop trainwreck Britney Spears recently at Pittsburgh’s City Theater.
And it is outstanding. Take a look:
Of course, that got me thinking about my own Britney performance, on Newsbreak shortly after her, uh, interesting appearance kicking off the MTV Video Music Awards almost three years ago. Take a look:
I know this might be a tough question, but whose Britney is better? Leave a comment and let me know.
That could quite possibly have been the best the best Newsbreak ever. I have to give UC the vote based purely on the killer choreography. Although, Lokay does get a (dis)honorable mention for the falsetto and southern accent…

If you had opened a bag of Chee-tos, it wouldn’t even be a contest. As it stands, I still give you the win but not by much.

Wowee. Britney done let herself go!
Two distinctly stellar performances. I’d love to see a mashup of your slamming dance moves with Lokay’s Loosiana v/o. Can someone please make that happen?!?

Wait… those clips were you guys? Not Britney? Impressive indeed, all around.

OK, this one’s not perfect because I couldn’t edit the end of the videos, but you get the gist.

After watching each video twice….it’s still a close call…but I gotta give it up to UC.

Most certainly UC’s performance – I had to do a double take to make sure it wasn’t really her – I mean,- all of those other people out there only care about making money off of her – she’s a human! I mean it!
and I saw it being channeled, or chanel, through UC – you are quite the thespian, i’d say – so anyone out there who wants to take something up with UC, you come to me! That boy ain’t right

UC, you’re the winner, for sure!

I am going to call it a tie.
Now, if one of you had put on that black “outfit” from said award show and/or carried a python, I could have more easily declared a winner.
