A couple thoughts about the Athens Olympics:

@ I generally pick one obscure sport and follow it through its conclusion. At the last winter games, it was curling. In 1984, it was water polo. I’m thinking this time it’s going to be handball, not the kind that sweaty old guys from New York play, but the seven-on-seven kind that resembles soccer. Pretty cool.

@ If we can declare Puerto Rico a state in the next few days, can we use their basketball team instead?
