The Wife and I are heading to Florida tomorrow, to spend Christmas with my sister’s family — including my two nephews — and my folks, who have been down there for a couple of weeks. The best part about the trip won’t be the weather — it’s been rainy and in the 50s, just like Pittsburgh has been the past couple of days — instead, it’ll be watching the boys tear through their presents on Christmas morning. Just talking to the older one on the phone a couple of days ago, you can hear that he’s almost vibrating. Let the chaos begin…
We’ll spend NYE in Columbus, celebrating both the new year and Fred’s 40th birthday. Ethel’s is next year, and The Wife and I are just a year behind her. Yikes.
With all the traveling, there isn’t going to be much time to post (like I need an excuse not to post…). So. Merry Christmas, y’all, and let’s make 2005 a good one.
