OK, I’m not setting aside the skiing obsession — in fact, it looks like The Wife and I will be able to head to New York to kick off the season either Thursday or Friday — but I can’t let this go without comment: Ohio State and Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl Jan. 2.

Wow. Most years, that game would draw better TV ratings than the title game, and deservedly so. Only the fifth time the two biggest Midwestern football powers meet, and this time it’s in a BCS game? Oooo, it’s going to be fun.

And write this down, boys and girls: Uncle Crappy says Ohio State will kick some Notre Dame ass.

    Does this make OSU the ‘pro-choice’ side, or the same sex marrage side, or the stem cell research side, I’m getting a little confused here.
