re-retired.

Tony Kornheiser retires more than a professional boxer.

The last time Mr. Tony ended his radio show — that was the ESPN radio gig — our ESPN radio affiliate had preempted his slot with a dumbass program about a Pitt basketball team that was a few days away from underachieving in the NCAA tournament. My solution was to drive to Youngstown, sit in the parking lot at the Southern Park mall and listen on the ESPN radio affiliate there.

Mr. Tony ended his show again today, this time so he can adjust his schedule for the upcoming Monday Night Football gig. And this time, I was sitting in the car again, but only because I couldn’t get a clean stream of the show on my computer at home. So I got my lunch, headed out to the car and fired up the satellite radio. Sat there for nearly 90 minutes, until he played that goddamn Billy Joel song again … and left us again.

Crap. Monday Night Football can’t start soon enough.

If you’re out on your bike tonight, everybody, do wear white.
