feelin’ it.

It’s coming.

The most important task at hand as we flip the calendar over to November is to make sure we’re playing our best football this month. You do a lot of work prior to November, but the month of November really is the legacy that you leave. There have been a lot of good teams at Ohio State over the years, but the ones that are considered great teams are the ones that played great in November.

If you think back to 2002, you’ll remember those last two road games — the first two games of that November — were insanely difficult. Tougher games than they should have been. And I’m expecting the same from Illinois and Northwestern in the next two weeks.

But. Still. It’s November. It’s time to start getting ready.

  1. November is so bittersweet for me. I love the fact that The Game is coming soon, but loathe the fact that once The Game is over, so is Ohio State’s football season save a bowl game.

The Vest will have them ready. In fact, I think in some weird way, he would prefer for these next two games to be a bit shaky and difficult, so he can iron out the bugs and build the “comeback confidence” of the team.

BTW…loved the Ohio State joke and wanted to get your take on Romeo replacement rumors. I now dwell in the land of Ocho Cinco, so Browns’ news is hard to come by.
