Just read on the web page for the Tostitos Bowl Championship Series National Championship Game that Ohio State will be wearing white jerseys, just as we were in the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 3, 2003. This is a good thing. Let’s recap:
- 2003 Fiesta Bowl: Ohio State 31, Miami 24 (2OT)
- 2004 Fiesta Bowl: Ohio State 35, Kansas State 28
- 2006 Fiesta Bowl: Ohio State 34, Notre Dame 20
Three trips to the desert, all in white jerseys. Three wins.
Again, this is a good thing.

It’s an Arizona tradition. As, apparently, are the scores, as I just noticed. Average those finals out and you get 33 for us and 24 for them. And that may not be a bad final score prediction…
