If this shot had been taken on November 5, I would have posted something manically enthusiastic about Big Ten football being played outside in the bitter cold and snow and this is how the world should be. I might have even mentioned something about skiing once the Michigan game was done.

If this shot had been taken on January 5, I would have posted a lament about the pathetic snowfall; I mean, how in the hell am I supposed to go skiing when we’re just getting wimpy-ass dustings like this? But, I would have noted hopefully, there was probably a lot more snow up in Somerset County, so Seven Springs would probably be in much better shape.
