talking tough.

Found another interesting thing about the possibility of a Big Ten expansion. Steve Grinczel, a columnist who covers Michigan State for mlive.com, has an interesting take on the Big Ten’s postion with respect to Notre Dame: essentially, this is a take-it-or-leave-it proposition to the Domers. And Grinczel thinks the conference is in a good position to make demands.

Brian at mgoblog sees the deal with ND a little differently. He also makes a convincing argument for Texas — while admitting that it’ll never happen.

Echoing the report from Large, Grinczel also said Syracuse would be next on the list. He also has decent reasons as to why — the hope that New York would become Big Ten Country — but I still don’t like that option.

And Louisville? Love the town, but, uh, no thanks.
