We lost a tough game on that October night in State College.

We haven’t lost a regular-season game since.

It’s going to look similar on Saturday night. The same white-out. The same misty, cool weather.

We won’t be starting a quarterback who was coming off a suspension. They won’t have Michael Robinson.

Things are going to be different in 2007.

    On a side note, I was mildly excited to finally see the tight ends included in the offensive package.

    Tress is a genius. That 60 yard pass to Small….never saw that formation before nor after. He was checking to see how the defense would react to that, probably prepping for The Game.

    My BIL is a Badger fan and I cannot wait to smear this one in his face. I have been eating the last loss for two years now.

  2. Kristi: This just in: Ohio State might actually be pretty good.

    I’m still concerned about this weekend, though … if there is a team that has had Tressel’s number, it’s this one, although maybe it had more to do with Barry than the Badgers themselves.

    Still … looks pretty good so far.

    Hey — Do I remember reading last fall that this was the game you and Dan were attending this season? If that’s still the plan, what do you have in mind for tailgating?

  3. My BIL tried to get tickets for this game from Wisconsin, (he’s and alum) and was unable. That is usually a sure thing.

    My alumni tickets were for Illinois, but the University did not have enough to send me two. (735,000 tickets, and I could not get two…talk about feeling insignificant!)

    I am sad that I will go yet another season without seeing my team in person. With Dan’s lay off, our move and paying rent and a mortgage, I can’t justify spending the price that scalpers name. I will wait until next year. I will try to go the legitimate route once again and hopefully will get chosen for two tickets. Besides taking my hubby, I want to take my father, also an alum and I would love to take my grandfather, an alum as well.

    UC, we will make tailgate plans for ’08. I will bring the beer.
