I’ve got a more substantial post in mind — in fact, the writing has already begun — but that one is getting saved for tomorrow. So, for today, you’re going to get this kind of crap instead:
* Hoop. The Big Ten-ACC Challenge is usually enough to get me to pay attention to college basketball for the first time each season. I watched part of an excellent game between Georgia Tech and Indiana tonight, but the big one is Wednesday at 8 — Ohio State hosting North Carolina. As it did last year, this game will prompt a little trash-talking in the Crappy home, as The Wife grew up in North Carolina; my smack will be a little half-hearted this time, though, because we don’t have those guys named Oden or Conley this year, and I think we’re going to get waxed.
* Wow. I’m still busy being blown away by the Over The Rhine Christmas record. If you’ve got a spare $10, stop by the iTunes store and get yourself a copy. Seriously.
* Theft. I stole a Woycheck tweet from Sunday and used it for our webcast Monday. Thanks, Woy.
* Games. I’m not yet ready to fully discuss any possibilities for Ohio State football postseason yet, but Matlock should be prepared — if things work out the way I think they will, we’re going to need some serious contributions to Uncle Crappy in the near future.
* Games, II. Boomer Sooner!
* Advice. Beer makes Christmas shopping easier.
* Working. Tomorrow, I stop by Bocktown Beer and Grill for a short interview to accompany December’s beer column. If you find yourself stuck inside the Robinson-North Fayette Retail Nightmareoplex at some point in the next month, and, you know, you realize you could use a beer, you’ll find Bocktown all the way in the back of The Pointe. It’s worth the trip.
Thanks UC!
For those of you who are scoring at home and can’t see my Twitter statuses:
“Warning to Steelers: Objects in your rearview mirror are closer than they appear.”
And after last night, they might want to adjust that mirror to see better.

In my experience, I’ve found few things that aren’t better when beer is involved. Those few things are:
a) Driving
b) Having important and emotional discussions with a loved one
c) Praying to the porcelain god
