What I learned today:

1) Hillary Clinton still looks pretty good, even at 8:30 a.m.

2) 8:30 a.m. is early enough that neither Cindy nor I thought to take a picture of Hillary Clinton as we walked by her in the lobby of the Omni William Penn.

3) Nothing can disrupt a conference quite like the sound of bagpipes.

4) My profession is dying.*

5) I should read more Malcolm Gladwell.

6) Staying up past 1 a.m. two nights in a row — followed by two early mornings — is kinda tough for a 41-year-old. But last night and today? Probably worth the pain.

*Not actually learned today, but, rather, reinforced.
