* This space was to have been occupied by an excited post about the prospect of seeing Over The Rhine on Saturday night.

* It would have explained how frustrated I’ve been with Pittsburgh’s music scene recently, not because there haven’t been any shows to see but because the concerts I’ve wanted to see have all been scheduled on Sundays — the one day each week when getting out of work is nearly impossible.

* I would have tried to demonstrate the craving — almost a desperation — I feel when too much time has passed since that last show. And how Saturday’s concert would have been the first one in a while.

* And then I got this:

This Saturday’s Over the Rhine concert at The Diesel Club Lounge in Pittsburgh has been postponed. The rescheduled date is now FRIDAY, JUNE 6.

Sigh.

So. Anyone want to do something Saturday night? Apparently, The Wife and I aren’t busy.
