If you take a look at the series of Crappyesque links over there on the right, you’ll a bunch of new ones showing up today. Sen. Hillary Clinton showed up in my area today, and I spent several hours writing and talking for work — and writing and shooting pictures and video for myself. As was the case with Sen. Barack Obama’s appearance a few weeks ago, my goal here wasn’t to provide coverage of the event — because there’s plenty of that available — but rather to give y’all a look at what I see when I attend one of these things.
So. Take at look at Crappyesque, and I’ll keep putting up new stuff as I get the chance.

This is going to sound stupid, but thank you for referring to Clinton as Clinton, and not as Hillary. I’ve quickly developed a pet peeve this campaign season from members of the media using Clinton’s first name in the same sentence that they use Obama’s last name. I doubt anyone intends it as disrespectful, but it comes across that way to me. I know, I need to get over myself. Anyway, thank you!

Not stupid at all. It’s an easy thing to fall into — but it’s pretty sloppy and, yeah, a little disrespectful as well. I’m guilty of doing it too, but never in something I’m writing for work. And not just because the copy editors would never let me get away with it.
