Since suggesting on Tuesday that Rolling Stone founder and editor Jann Wenner might be slightly, uh, fuzzy after years of chasing rock ‘n’ roll musicians in the name of journalism, I’ve been getting daily hits from Wenner Media, the home of Jann’s magazine empire.
Mr. Wenner, if that’s you: While I’m currently employed — and reasonably happy — I would always be willing to listen to offers. And that stuff about you being not quite right just because your magazine published a “Best of 2008” feature four months into the year? My newsroom is loaded with baby boomers — I understand completely.
