I was all set for The Wife’s birthday last weekend, but illness (mine) and dreadful work schedules (The Wife’s) kept us from celebrating on Monday, the actual day. Today kind of sucked. We couldn’t celebrate The Wife’s birthday, because she was stuck at work well into the evening. And I didn’t feel so hot anyway. But as always, good medicine helps. And we’ll try to get a proper birthday celebration accomplished in a day or two.
I’m not feeling too swift at the moment — my first real cold of the winter has been building since last night — but this still makes me feel happy.
