Here we go, boys and girls: Uncle Crappy’s fearless Final Four predictions, as part of the First Annual Uncle Crappy NCAA Final Four Contest.
The Final Four: Duke, UCLA, North Carolina and Ohio State. Duke beats the Bruins to make it to the finals, and in the most serious test of our six-and-a-half-year marriage, my Buckeyes will beat The Wife’s Tar Heels in the other semi-final to advance.
Early in the championship game, J.J. Redick will drive the lane for the Blue Devils, only to be crushed by Terence Dials and sent whining to the locker room. With Redick out of commission, Ohio State rains threes from the roof of the RCA Dome to take the title.
Yeah. I’m serious. By the way, y’all like my hat? I don’t care what the NCAA says … I’m not giving it back.
Entry into the First Annual Uncle Crappy NCAA Final Four Contest is that simple, kids. Give me your final four, the participants in the title game and the team that will take it all. You get a point for each correct pick, and three for correctly picking the champion. The winner gets all the glory right here on Uncle Crappy, as well as a Fabulous Prize selected by Uncle Crappy himself. Deadline for entry is noon on Thursday, so get to work.
Kewyson’s prediction – Final 4: North Carolia, Villanova, Duke, Kansas. Championship game: Duke vs. Villanova – with the Blue Devils taking the title game of March Madness, now extended by commercials into April.
