  1. As much as it pains me to say it, I feel the same way. I’m sick of hearing about the Irish. Besides, it will make our win in November so much sweeter if _ichigan has done well this season and we shred their hopes and dreams. Lllloyd is one crusty dude about to be canned, if you ask me.

  2. A good season by Michigan always makes November better. I’ve always said the Big Ten doesn’t need a championship game, because it already has one, played in either Columbus or Ann Arbor on the last game of the season. Hell, I’d love for the defacto national championship game to be played at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in Ohio Stadium.

    There’s one other reason for me to pull for Lllloyd this weekend. I think people who vote in college football polls tend to be a little dazzled by those shiny gold helmets, Touchdown Jesus and all the other trappings of ND football, and tend to want to believe they’re a bit better than they really are. And if we come down to a situation where there are more than two unefeated teams, ND’s going to get boost simply because it’s ND.

    Yeah, I know … if we continue without a loss, our position isn’t going to change. The rational part of my brain understands that … the other part, though…

    Hate to say it, Ohio has the better team this year. Of course, each year, the late November game is not always won by the better team. As we are very familiar with down here in the South at “The USC”, one week at a time. I guess that is the motto for the Men of Blue this year. It would be nice to rough up those shiny gold helmets!!
