    Fine.

But you know what’s really strange? To actually be disappointed after a Browns loss. They’ve been so bad for so long that most of the time I don’t even bother watching, much less caring about the outcome.

A meaningful game? One that turned out to be close enough to bother me when the Browns gagged it away in the second half?

It’s actually refreshing, in an odd sort of way.

  2. We did try to prepare you for defeat in previous comments.

I’m glad you’re feeling refreshed after the loss. That’s kind of sweet.

  3. Cindy: Our bourbon pie was amazing — in fact, I just finished off the last of the leftovers at work tonight. Did you give it a try?

Woy: I don’t even know where to begin…

  4. I ran out of time Saturday for pie-making.

I’ve signed up for dessert duty for Thanksgiving though, and I’m planning to make that bourbon pecan pie plus a pumpkin pie.

And maybe a spare bourbon pecan pie for my own devouring.

  5. UC,

    The rivalry is rekindled!

    Exhibit A: Close score
    Exhibit B: Roethlisberger towel waving
Exhibit C: Intensity visible on Stiller’s sideline
    Exhibit D: Postgame scuffle
Exhibit E: Your Pittsburke friends gloating

If it really was just another game….well…

I agree it’s close. But we can’t say it’s back until the Browns actually win a couple of times, preferably games that do something to screw up the Stillers’ playoff hopes.
