Mrs. Crappy was up early, so the giant ham had plenty of time to cook. She also apparently dumped a bunch of brown sugar on the kitchen floor, which explained why she seemed a bit grumpy when she woke me up at 7.This is the first time as Pittsburgh residents we have reserved a parking space with a chair. We were glad we did, too; apparently our street is where everyone comes to observe Easter, and it wouldn't have been good to make Mrs. Crappy's grandmother walk much further. We even managed to set up a modest egg hunt in the backyard for our young cousins. Our table looks pretty Easter-y, but the truth is this is pretty much what we have to work with as far as placesettings go.There were many pictures of ham in my Brightkite stream on Sunday. Here's mine. It was delicious.Perhaps my favorite thing about Easter: I always get a bag of black jelly beans. They're all mine.
I like black jellybeans, too. Along with black licorice, they are treats that I KNOW no one will steal.

BB: Sweet! I can pick some up for my sister.
AA: Thanks. We both had forgotten about those placemats. Finding them was good, because the idea of me making new ones is still making me laugh.
