At some point Sunday night, The Burgh Blog abruptly re-appeared. PittGirl, who’s been busy as a columnist for Pittsburgh magazine, said she’ll have some big news for us coming soon. In the meantime, we get to enjoy all three-plus years of TBB while we wait.

If you knew about TBB before, I don’t need to tell you what a big deal this is. If you didn’t have the good fortune of finding her blog before she killed it in November, you owe it yourself to spend a little time going through it now.

I’m not going to remove the “In Memoriam” tag from her blogroll link until we find out whether this is a long-term thing or not. I imagine PG and Woy are the only ones who know what the big news is. But if you have a guess, I’d love to hear it. Mine? Based on her new post and its tag, the first thing that came to mind was something about Ken Rice’s penis. I really, REALLY hope I’m wrong about that though.
