  1. UC, the wife and I took in the pageantry and excitement that is college football this weekend as well. It turns out that UC, Mrs. UC and my wife share an alma mater. The Bobcats didn’t disappoint in a 28-10 thumping of Cal Poly that wasn’t as close as the final score. It’s been about 12 years since my wife was last on campus and about 20 years for me. I can’t tell you how many times she said, “that’s new” or “that wasn’t here when I was here” or some other variation on the theme. I think my wife was part amazed and part envious at the changes. And, Baker Center and the Ping Rec Center have got to be best-in-class facilities. Did you experience the same thing when you went back? How about Mrs. UC?
