Ohio State’s on the road on Saturday, but I’ve figured out a way to avoid tailgating withdrawals.
The son of our friend Hutch is a junior defensive end at Hiram College, and the Terriers visit Carnegie Mellon at 1 p.m. Saturday. Hutch asked a couple days ago for folks to come out and support a Pittsburgh kid on Saturday, and we’re happy to come see some good D3 football.
It’s great that our college football schedule worked out so we can come see, uh, some more college football on Saturday; I also think we can have some fun along the way.
This isn’t going to be a huge thing, in part because I’m not sure that the folks at Carnegie Mellon — and specifically, the university’s police department — would know what to do with a serious tailgate party. but what I think we can do is show up on the top level of the East Campus Parking Garage — that’s the one right next to the stadium — for some light breakfast stuff, some Bloody Marys and maybe some our patented Killer Nuts Tailgating Special Coffee.
So. Show up at the top level of the garage around 11 Saturday morning. We’ll have some fun and then go see some football. See y’all there.
Wow, you are awesome, thanks Unc! Now I just hope he gets some playing time with his hand
